- Hi, I'm Jeri Hoag. I am a custom portrait photographer located in Northern Indiana. I am located in Goshen, but serve the entire Michiana area including, but not limited to... Bremen, Bristol, Elkhart, Granger, Lagrange, Ligonier, Middlebury, Mishawaka, Nappanee, Plymouth, Shipshewana, South Bend, and Syracuse, Indiana. And in Michigan including Buchanan, Dowagiac, Edwardsburg, Niles, Sturgis and Three Rivers. I specialize in portraits of maternity, newborns, babies, children, families and seniors. I am also a birth photographer. I utilize mostly natural light while striving to capture my subjects in the moment. ••• I've always had a love for photography. My history with photography dates back over 20 years, even longer if you consider my childhood days that I spent time behind the camera. I took high school and college courses to further my knowledge on photography. These days I attend seminars and do a lot of reading to keep up with the ever-changing digital world of photography.

Early | Goshen maternity photography
I was contacted several weeks ago by this momma who is in the Armed Forces and was coming home to have her baby. I knew the timeline would be cutting it close, but not this close. I titled this post "Early" because when I took these photos their little guy was suppose to arrive soon... today, 1/1/11 to be exact, but he arrived a few days early. So less than 48 hours after I took them their baby made his debut into this world. Now onto the photos... doesn't this glowing momma look fabulous? They were such a cute couple and such naturals in front of the camera. It was a fun session and I'm looking forward to meeting their little guy in just a few short days.
